Somewhere between the kitchen table and the rehearsal room - sit with me a while, there is space for you.

Παρασκευές / Fridays 18.00-18.45 @ Tanzhaus Zürich, Studio 1 (Wipkingen)
Σάββατα / Saturdays 10.45-11.30 , El Social (Viadukt) Zurich
A course of movement, dance and play that activates imagination, sensitivity and emotions, colours, music, fiction and storytelling. Parents and children discover rhythm, storytelling and embodied imagination together. Through literature, poetry, visual arts, myths, music and play, we activate the senses while children learn through the joy and participation of adults. We don't expect children to “do”, but we focus on the parents/carers and how much they enjoy it. The class is held in Greek with translations in English/German when needed.

Reading, Writing & Movement — Creative Practice
Tuesdays 19.15, at Eleni's Atelier - Badenestrasse 671, 8048, Zurich
This is a weekly creative practice exploring reading, movement and other artistic tools.
Sessions include shared reading, guided writing and movement tasks, alongside simple performative practices inspired by dance and theatre, literature, music and visual arts. People who enjoy working with sound or music are also welcome to join.
Each cycle focuses on the life and work of one woman who shaped her time.
We read short texts by and around her and use them as a starting point for creative and embodied exploration.
We begin with Pamela Colman Smith (1878–1951), an artist and illustrator whose images shaped modern visual imagination.
This is an open, guided practice.
No previous experience in dance, art or performance is needed.
You are welcome to come once or twice for free trials, and then stay if it feels like the right circle for you.

A short note on the word “imaginary” — by Eleni
When I use the word imaginary, I am not referring to something unreal or fictional.
I mean the inner space where images, memories, sensations and meanings begin to form - often before we can name or explain them. The imaginary is what allows a story, an image or a body to carry meaning without instruction.
It does not follow rules; it generates them. In these gatherings, we work with the imaginary as a living force - something that moves through reading, voice, movement and presence, and slowly takes form through a shared practice.
